The connection runs through HiBob's app model. Ask us for the current status.
How an admin connects it
OAuth Connect button. No API key to copy or paste.
Who can set it up: Organization admin (and a HiBob admin able to approve the app).
In the Mucho Gusto admin console, open the HR system card, choose HiBob and click Connect.
Approve the app in HiBob.
Preview your org chart: people, departments, managers and upcoming start dates. Nothing is imported yet.
Click Import (or Not yet). After that the sync runs nightly.

We never request HiBob's sensitive-data scopes, so fields such as compensation or personal identifiers are not reachable by our connection.

The search request names the fields above explicitly; inactive employees are included so terminations and upcoming hires are detected. Before the first import you see a read-only preview, including any reporting loops or missing managers we found.
How the data is used
Seeds and refreshes your organization's org chart: job title, department and reporting line.
Records hire and termination dates so tenure and new-hire cohorts in the Connection Score are accurate.
Matches directory people to existing members by lowercased email address. A manager you have set by hand is never overwritten by a sync.
A sync never deactivates a seat or deletes a member account. Someone who disappears from the directory is marked as terminated in the employment history only.
Sync frequency
Automatically once a day (04:00 UTC), plus on demand with the admin console's sync button.
Disconnecting and purging data
How: Admin console, HiBob card, Disconnect.
Our stored HiBob connection is deleted.
Nightly syncs for your organization stop.
Disconnecting removes our stored connection. We do not call the vendor to revoke the grant, so also revoke Mucho Gusto's access inside the vendor's own admin settings.
What remains: Disconnecting removes the stored connection only. Org-chart entries, titles, reporting lines and employment dates already imported stay in your organization's workspace, and member accounts are not deleted. To have previously synced data removed as well, email [email protected] and we will handle it case by case; there is no self-service purge today.
